Booker T. Washington National Monument is a unit of the National Park Service located in the town of Hardy, Virginia.
Booker T. Washington National Monument preserves portions of the 207 acre (838,000 m²) tobacco farm on which educator Booker T. Washington was born, into slavery, on April 5, 1856.
The site was officially founded on April 2, 1956.
