Justin Di Ciano (Canadian politician, who was elected to Toronto City Council in the 2014 municipal election.[1] He represents Ward 5 (Etobicoke—Lakeshore).
) is aPrior to his election, Di Ciano worked as a manager for Gross Securities, a Toronto real estate investment firm,[1] and was active in the community as a cofounder of the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment and as a director of the Toronto Ribfest.[1]
He ran in the same ward in the 2010 election, losing narrowly to incumbent councillor Peter Milczyn.[1]
On March 8, 2018 the Toronto Star first reported that Di Ciano was being investigated by the OPP's anti-racket's branch, known for investigating enterprise crime and complex fraud, for "potential violations of the Municipal Elections Act."[2] On November 16, 2018 the OPP charged Di Cano along with Mark Grimes for failing to comply to the Municipal Elections Act during the 2014 municipal elections.[3]
