Katie Isabella Kittermaster is a British singer-songwriter.[1][2] Her career started in Dubai when she opened the Global Gift Gala, hosted by Ricky Martin and Eva Longoria and attended by Songwriter Maxwell and rap artist 50Cent.

Biography

Kittermaster was born and raised in Sutton Valence, Kent, England. Her first public solo performance was in her school nativity play at the age of three. At the age of eleven, she and her family moved to Dubai, where Kittermaster performed live on the national television network MBC.[3] Following this performance, Kittermaster was performed at an event organised by the Global Gift Foundation when she was twelve, with the event attended by Ricky Martin, 50 Cent, Maxwell and Eva Longoria.[4][5][6][7][8] When she was thirteen, she relocated to the United Kingdom where she continued her career in music, and at the age of sixteen performed with the UK X-Factor winner Louisa Johnson at The Big Day Out to an audience of fourteen thousand.[9] Actively involved in school, songwriting and performing, Kittermaster has also opened for Jools Holland in Cambridgeshire,[10][11] and more recently in December 2019, Olly Murs in London.[12][13]

In January 2019, the daytime ITV programme This Morning played "Kaleidoscope," one of Kittermaster's tracks, on the Gok Wan fashion segment.[14]

BBC news made a short news article about Kittermaster in 2018,[15] and she has had continuous radio support in the UK by the BBC Radio 1[16] She performed live on BBC Radio Kent during 2018.[17] In 2018, BBC Introducing played an unreleased song of hers, "What Am I To Do."[18] In 2018, she won the UK Songwriting Competition.[19][20][21]

In September 2019, once Kittermaster had left school and successfully completed her A Levels , she supported Boyzone's frontman Ronan Keating at Castle Howard and Kimbolton Castle. She then supported fellow Boyzone bandmate, Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden from boyband Westlife. [22]
