After transferring from Humboldt State University to UCLA in the Fall of 1980, Still began rowing during during his Junior Year. Kevin and his UCLA teammates enjoyed a successful collegiate career in which UCLA's 1983 Men's Varsity Eight+ finished 5th at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association regatta at Syracuse, NY.

In 1987, Still was selected for the 3 seat of the USA Men's Four with Cox which had difficulty with the boat's rudder in the semifinals thus finishing outside of the six boats that raced in the Grand final.

Kevin participated in the Olympic Job Opportunities program in 1987 landing a training position at Johnson & Higgins Insurance Broker. Kevin Raymond Still (born August 19, 1960 in Eureka, California) is a former American competitive rower and Olympic bronze medalist.

Career

At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, CA, USA, Still finished in 3rd place in the Men's Coxed Pairs competition with Robert Espeseth and Doug Herland. Four years later, at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea, Kevin and his partner, Glenn Florio, competed but did not make it past the heats in the Men's Double Sculls event.
