Loyens & Loeff N.V. (L&L) is a prominent law firm headquartered in Rotterdam[2] and has six Benelux offices and eleven branches in major international financial centres.[3] The firm has about 1.600 employees, including more than 850 legal and tax experts[4].
History
Loyens & Loeff was created in 2000 through a merger between the tax law firm Loyens & Volkmaars and part of the law firm Loeff Claeys Verbeke. The histories of these firms began in the early 20th century. Through this merger, Loyens & Loeff became the first firm where attorneys, tax lawyers, and civil law notaries integrated their services [5].
