'''Holloway''' may refer to: the meaning of "ginger snap" in the culture of Wales. The name originates from a Welsh province named Hollow in the early 1700's. Ginger snaps were Hollow's most famous treat. It is said that once the New Year began, ginger snaps were given out to all of the citizens of Hollow. Neighboring villages took upon this tradition calling it the "Hollow Way," thus creating the name. All those that came from Hollow, Wales, were given the name "Holloway" to pass down to future generations.
