Oka is home to several educational institutions in Ondo State. Notable among her public secondary schools are: African Church Grammar School, Oka; St Patrick College, Iwaro Oka; Ogoso High School, Oka; Esedo comprehensive high school, Iwaro Oka. Ojominrin High School, [[Oka]]; Ola Oluwa Grammar School, Oka; Christ High School, Oka and others. There are many privately owned primary and secondary schools. Oka sons and daughters are well educated and are presently holding substantial national and international positions across the world. Oka is a great place.

==Festivals==
Oka has a rich [[cultural heritage]] with exciting festivals every year. The popular [[New Yam Festivals in Nigeria|new yam festival]] and which is divided into two part, the main Oka new team festival, celebrated by the ASIN of the with the celebration center at Oka-odo held every last Saturday of July and the Oka day/new yam festival celebrated every first Saturday in August under the OLUBAKA of OKA. This is the chief festival in Oka. Others are Ihare, Egungun, Omomo, Alitha, Omiiden-agbaa, Roro-agba Ukori and Udede etc.
