Nepali Dhoti Day (Nepali: नेपाली धोती दिवस)[1][2] is an event celebrated by Nepalese, mainly of Madhesi and Tharu origins globally on 1 January of English Calendar wearing Dhoti as their pride.[3] Most Nepali people wear Dhaka topi and Bhaad-gaaule topi along with Dhoti on that day parallelly Northern Nepalese celebrating Topi Diwas while Southern Nepalese celebrating Dhoti Diwas.[4]
