Tatsuo Matsumura (Japanese: 松村龍雄) (February 25, 1868 - July 18, 1932) was an Imperial Japanese Navy admiral. He was a graduate of the Imperial Japanese Naval Academy and Naval War College. He was from Hizen Province in what is now Saga Prefecture. He was a veteran of the Russo-Japanese War and World War I. In January 1914 he was caught up in the Siemens scandal. He was the first Commander of Interim Southern Islands Defense Unit (1914-1915).
