Silvana Tenreyro

Silvana Tenreyro is an economist.

She graduated with a BA summa cum laude from the National University of Tucumán, Argentina in 1997, completed an MA at Harvard University in 1999, and completed her PhD in Economics from Harvard in 2002.[1]

She was appointed to a 3-year term on the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee from July 2017.[2] She has been a professor of economics at the London School of Economics. She worked at the US Federal Reserve Bank of Boston from 2002 to 2004 and at the Bank of Mauritius from 2012 to 2014.[3]
