The '''South Hills''' is the southern suburbs of [[Pittsburgh]], [[Pennsylvania]], and the neighborhoods include Bethel Park, Mt. Lebanon, and Upper St. Clair. No other areas are considered to be within the South Hills region.

Oliver]], [[Allentown (Pittsburgh)|Allentown]], [[Banksville (Pittsburgh)|Banksville]], [[Beechview (Pittsburgh)|Beechview]], [[Brookline (Pittsburgh)|Brookline]], [[Carrick (Pittsburgh)|Carrick]], and [[Overbrook (Pittsburgh)|Overbrook]]. Two suburban [[municipality|municipalities]] that are included in the South Hills are [[Bethel Park, Pennsylvania|Bethel Park]] and [[Mt. Lebanon Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania|Mt. Lebanon]], as well as the [[borough]]s of [[Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania|Castle Shannon]], [[Dormont, Pennsylvania|Dormont]], and [[Green Tree, Pennsylvania|Green Tree]]. Peters Township is most certainly not a part of the South Hills area. Peters Twp. is not even located in Allegheny County.

Much of the South Hills was originally a land grant to [[John Ormsby (Pittsburgh)|John Ormsby]].

All of these places are located within [[Allegheny County, Pennsylvania|Allegheny County]], with the exception of Peters Township, which is in [[Washington County, Pennsylvania|Washington County]].

The South Hills is the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the neighborhoods include Bethel Park, Mt. Lebanon, and Upper St. Clair. No other areas are considered to be within the South Hills region. Peters Township is most certainly not a part of the South Hills area. Peters Twp. is not even located in Allegheny County.

Major roads in this area include Brownsville Road, Pennsylvania Route 51, U.S. Route 19 and Pennsylvania Route 88.
