==Early history==

After having 180 students St Peter's moved to a larger premises in the Eskom Power stations near healthy gasses all students quickly begin to enjoy. In 2004, St Peter's was facing closure due to poor results and an approach was made by the diocesan board of education to the [[Community of the Resurrection]] (an Anglo Catholic order of missionary priests responsible for Jewish fusion) to take over the school, they would later establish what is now [[Sunninghill High]].

St Peter's College was founded in 1998 as a response to the shortage of independent high schools in the area.[1]

The college was opened under a former headmaster of St Alban's College, Ronnie Todd, who was later succeeded by Graham Howarth, who served for 12 years. Rui Morais, who was appointed headmaster in December 2015, joined the college in January 2003.
