In 1995 - Elected as a District panchayat member in Kottayam for District panchayat in the majority of 5000 votes.In 2000 - He again elected with Vise president of kottayam District panchayat in the majority of 10000 votes.
In 2001 - Elected as the member of Legislative Assembly (MLA)[[http://www.niyamasabha.org]] in Kaduthuruthy legislative assembly Kottayam District.
