Stonewall is a town in Pamlico County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 285 at the 2000 census. It is part of the New Bern, North Carolina Micropolitan Statistical Area.

There were 118 households out of which 28.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.8% were married couples living together, 12.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.4% were non-families. 27.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
