liver damage

The paper that comes with Olmifon says that you should monitor liver function when taking this drug. I have this testing quarterly already due to other prescriptions so no new precautions needed on my part. How does Adrafinil compare to Modafinil?

How effective is it, and what studies are out there to demonstrate this?

There aren't many studies as this drug hasn't been approved by the FDA As Adrafinil is metabolised into Modafinil it is presumably as effective. Yes, the drug is metabolized from one isomer tothe other. Basically you take the drug, it is converted to the active ingredient and then you get the same effects. Bioavaliability may be different though --Bdc2011
