Whilst dear old Queenscliffe is an anomoly it's hardly likely that it had more Liberal heavies than say, Prahran, Kew, Camberwell, Hawthorn and almost anywhere else. To suggest that Kennett (or anyone for that matter) would be looking to be Mayor of 2,300 people at some vague time in the future is stretching credibility a bit. Premier of Victoria with 4 million people and billions of $, but really wants to be Mayor of 2,000 people and with no money?
