I'm undoing my last revision as I can't say I have a definite source for the Kent Smith/Ruth Warrick footage only being shot after Pearl Harbor: there's references for the film being somehow updated after Pearl Harbor but as yet I can't find a clear statement as to the nature of the update (I'm still looking).--[[User:Cherrylimerickey|Cherrylimerickey]] ([[User talk:Cherrylimerickey|talk]]) 01:25, 24 May 2019 (UTC) |

An altercation occurs where Barstow and others attempt to seize a young woman, claiming that the law is on their side - but they are sent packing from the mansion after a violent struggle. Barstow and the others threaten to return with legal back up. 2 working class servant women are later discussing it, and one says this line to the other in a completely deadpan way - "I really pity her having to go back to that old Barstow." |

`In' joke which clearly got past the censor concerning the baddie character Barstow[edit]
An altercation occurs where Barstow and others attempt to seize a young woman, claiming that the law is on their side - but they are sent packing from the mansion after a violent struggle. Barstow and the others threaten to return with legal back up. 2 working class servant women are later discussing it, and one says this line to the other in a completely deadpan way - "I really pity her having to go back to that old Barstow."
