Missing Tournaments

According to Snooker.org the General Cup took place not once but twice in both 2011 & 2012 with Cao Yuepeng and Mark Selby victorious. It also took place in 2005. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 01:56, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do we have any other sources besides a Twitter feed? Obviously we want a complete record but generally Twitter isn't regarded as a WP:Reliable source unless the account is verified, and then there is the question of who this Tommy Tamaka is. Betty Logan (talk) 12:37, 19 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't suggesting we alter the article purely based on this poor source, but it does raise questions about the accuracy of the article. Tommy Tamaka is a snooker referee who was assistant tournament director at this year's tournament. Maybe I'll ask Snooker.org to add the info to their website if they feel it's accurate. They could create a General Cup finals page similar to the one they have for the Shoot-Out. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 23:34, 19 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
