I removed the globalize tag because recognizance is a concept unique to the legal systems of the countries mentioned as far as I know. I could be wrong. :Neither England nor Wales is mentioned in the list as a country where the concept applies, yet the specific historical instances cited are from England. So, does recognizance apply in England or not? Or has it been made obsolete?
