"Talking / Once Again" is a song by the American hip hop superduo ¥$—composed of rapper Kanye West and singer Ty Dolla Sign—featuring West's daughter North. It was released as a promotional track on February 7, 2024, exclusively on Instagram, YouTube, and X/Twitter as the second promotional single from Vultures (2024).
Background and release
"Talking / Once Again" was previewed at the "Vultures Rave" event in December 2023.[1] Kanye West officially released the song alongside its music video on February 7th, 2024.[2]
Composition and themes
The song features themes of fatherhood, with Ty Dolla Sign rapping about remaining present in his daughter's life, hoping for her to avoid mistakes he made as a young man.[3]
Music video
The music video is directed by Damiano and Fabio D'Innocenzo. The video features Kanye and North West alongside Ty Dolla Sign and his daughter.[4]
