Template:Future election in the United States

"Third party" is a term commonly used in the United States to refer to political parties other than the Democratic and Republican parties.

Officially declared candidates, as well as some potential candidates who may have expressed interest running in the 2008 presidential election on a third party ticket are listed below. Also listed are candidates who have no official party affiliation and are running as independents.

Candidates marked with a † have not registered with the Federal Election Commission for a presidential campaign.
