About me:

I've worked in a variety of areas, mostly in medicine, from ICUs and ERs to outpatient clinics or offices, (many years in Nephrology/Acute Dialysis needs, and also Ophthalmology/Refractive Surgery) but like many in medicine, I got burned out and frustrated. I've "retired" from medicine, and now I spend my time working on my Master's degree, writing for a variety of web sites, and contributing to sites such as Wikipedia. As for my personal interests, I have a deep interest in space travel/astronomy, and NASA is my browser's home page.

I was a +sysop (System Operator/Admin) for the Microsoft Gaming Zone for many years, so I'm pretty familiar with how to handle vandals :) For the last 3 years I've written articles and columns for IGN.

If I could get a job going around the web correcting spelling and grammar, I would. I personally feel the single most important gift we can give our children is that of education and literacy.

If you get bored, you can always let fate guide your reading. ♥

For the most part, I dedicate my submissions to finding and correcting these errors, correcting blatant vandalism, and doing minor edits to articles for clarification.
