Vincent Xeus (born 1981) is a Chinese American artist known for his works that both challenge known traditional ways of art as well as conform with them, which breaks the boundaries between classically influenced and abstract oriented contemporary painting practices.


Biography

Xeus was born on 1981 in China. He began classical training as an artist during his childhood. He graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. Xeus later studied at Columbia University and received his Master of Business Administration.[1]

Xeus's works have been featured in various museum exhibitions and international art fairs such as 103rd California Art Club Gold Medal exhibition at Autry National Museum, American Masters Exhibition at Salmagundi Club, New York, Art Basel Miami Beach, LA Art Show, Art Market San Francisco and Art Market Hamptons.[2][3] His first solo exhibition, The Last Pearl, took place on March 8, 2014 at Maxewell Alexander Gallery in Culver City, California.[4] He was the Board Director of Arts Council of Napa Valley and an Arts Comissioner at Yountville, California. Xeus currently resides in Manhattan and Napa Valley.[1]
