Experience Paradise Project

(aka EPP) is a Jawaiian / Reggae gospel band from Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii.

EPP formed in 2007 as a performance art project with the intent to mix hawaiian culture with social causes while utilizing various forms of media.

Currently they are finishing up their album “Songs of Freedom” which will feature guests like Taz Vegas from Kalaeloa & Typical Hawaiians, Will Sua from Rebel Souljahz, Michel of Beach5 “Lipstick” fame and many others. <1>

History

Experience Paradise Project primarily formed to be able to travel throughout the world under some other guise than what their true intentions were of the initial project and that was to set someone trapped in human trafficking free. This they did an allegory for the full extent of what the word aloha means. Their full adventures are being edited into a feature length documentary called "Slaves to Aloha".<2>

After traveling around the world performing and receiving much accolades for their activities and music they decided to formalize themselves into an actual band.

Band Members

The band primarily consists of 3 members from various parts of Oahu.

Jordan Kanoe from Ewa Beach has played with a ton of Hawaiian groups as a pickup musician, including Typical Hawaiians, Native Roots and many others. His musical days of dealing with big name musicians go all the way back to junior high when he would kanikapila with friends at school including Bruno Mars and Braxton Olita.

Clinton Aurio from Kailua has played for several Christian bands on the island having opened for Crystal Lewis, The Katina's, Switchfoot, Mercy Me and many others.

Manuel Quirantes Jr. hails from Kahuku and from a long line of ukelele makers. For decades they made the T&K handmade ukeleles. He currently is the primary song arranger for the group.

Future Projects

Currently Jordan is working on the groups' next act of aloha which is to be able to give 1 lei to at least one person from at least 200 countries on the planet. And do it all within one year. The finish date is scheduled for May 1st, 2011.
