Welcome

Hello, welcome to Wikipedia.

You can help improve the articles listed below! This list updates frequently, so check back here for more tasks to try. (See Wikipedia:Maintenance or the Task Center for further information.)

Help counter systemic bias by creating new articles on important women.

Help improve popular pages, especially those of low quality.

You might find these links helpful in creating new pages or helping with the above tasks: How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

  • You can introduce yourself on the new users page
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.

Again, welcome! Chris Roy 17:39, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I've removed the DelRev tag, as you haven't actually added it to WP:DRV and there is not a proper link from the tag to the Review page. You have rather missed the boat here, as the AfD was 2 months ago. DRV only attends to procedural irregularity in the AfD, and I am not aware of any such. Please note the article as it now stands was the work of User:Guinnog and myself.

Also you left an edit summary which is a violation of WP:BLP. Please do not insult people, as it can result in your being blocked.

You have referred to the first AfD, but seem to have missed the second one: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mark Bellinghaus (second nomination). Whatever, please make sure you don't accidentally overwrite them.

Adding porno actors to dates.

Please keep in mind that adult actor, doesn't always mean porno actor. And people might go thinking "What the hell? Almost all actors are adults.", so please in the future refer to them as porno actors. TheBlazikenMaster 01:13, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bharathan

This is regarding your editing of the article on Bharathan. It is unfortunate that there are not many articles available in net on one of the greatest film directors of Malayalam film. Wikipedia was the best (only?) source available. If there is no article available in net on a topic, should that stop someone from writing about that topic in Wikipedia. If you keep such a restriction, how do you expect wikipedia to grow as the largest encyclopedia in earth? Hence I'm reverting back your changes Gokul 20:03, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have no issues in some one modifying the sentenses which they feel are baised... What I object is deleting the whole article which is the only source of information about him in web —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gokul m1 (talkcontribs) 16:34, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Willard Maas birth date

Wow, you found Willard Maas's official birth date? How did you do that, and would you be able to look up other people's birth dates as we need them? Badagnani (talk) 23:41, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i found it on the Social Security Death Index, which can be accessed via http://www.rootsweb.com Worc63 (talk) 04:48, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments

As far as the guys birthday goes - I tried to straighten out your mess..Because you completely messed up the rest of the page....and I do not feature your threat! Although you did his birthday correctly, I did neglect to put it back when I repaired the rest of the page....Modernist (talk) 00:14, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Details on the date pages

I just wanted to let you know that I think you removed some potentially useful details from some of the date pages. I believe that briefly describing what the person is most notable for is relevant and helpful. I went back through and readded a lot of the details for several date pages. In the future, it's probably better not to get rid of the details as long as they are concise and of course sourced in the main article. Also for future reference, it would be good to note you are removing details in your edit summary. Thanks, Sifaka talk 05:58, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
