Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create an account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

If you edit without an account, your IP address (72.229.40.94) is used to identify you instead.

We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! --SpyMagician (talk) 06:57, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Discospinster. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sleepy Hollow (TV series), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 00:02, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Sleepy Hollow (season 3). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ... discospinster talk 00:02, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Empire (2015 TV series). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:00, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Musdan77. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nicole Beharie, but you didn't provide a reliable source. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please use edit summaries

Please use edit summaries to describe your edits. Among your helpful edits, I've seen many that I don't understand, so I've reverted them (leaving an explanation as to why in the edit summary). They might have been improvements, but I wouldn't know that, because you haven't explained them in an edit summary.

And now for the generic template version:

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Willondon (talk) 12:23, 10 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

August 2015 continued

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Sage the Gemini. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Many of your edits have added release dates that haven't even transpired yet. On Sage the Gemini, you asserted here [1] that the release date was September 2015. Not even 24 hours later, you asserted here [2] that the release date was December 2015. And so, it appears that you're just making stuff up. On Wikipedia, this is considered vandalism. Do not make any more edits without providing an edit summary, and preferably, have references to back up your changes. Willondon (talk) 00:57, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • This edit [3] is what I'm talking about. On the same page, you've asserted three different release dates now, all of them in the future. And like all your contributions, they have no edit summary to explain them, or source to support them.
I'm confused, because I've seen some positive contributions, many that I have no reason to doubt, some I know as false, and some dubious ones. At this point, it doesn't matter whether your edits are correct, or improvements, or not. Without communication, no reader or editor can be sure which are which. I expect to challenge your edits more and more. Willondon (talk) 01:44, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of discussion on WP/ANI

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#The_barrelling_editor_from_IP_72.229.40.94 regarding edits coming from this IP address. It concerns a complete failure to respond to attempts to discuss the edits. Willondon (talk) 18:54, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your final warning. You may be blocked from editing without further notice the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Sage the Gemini. Jim1138 (talk) 05:21, 13 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
