Edge detect

You can find the Java solution folder here. You can open the individual class files at /src/ the folder contains the source code for a Gaussian processor, Sobel operator and Canny edge detector. The receptive field program works using an array of pixels around the center pixel in a circular pattern. I've included an image that shows the locations of the pixels relative to the center pixel and a Java class. If you need any more help get back in touch. --Simpsons contributor (talk) 20:27, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much!

I really appreciate your help. I will be in touch :) Any Music 11:57, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Any Music

I've put a new version of the file up now (I accidentally left out the receptive field code). If the receptive field source file is empty you can download the new version. --Simpsons contributor (talk) 12:06, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

exe file

Could you possibly send me any executive version. I am having some trouble with downloading jbuilder.

That might take a while. Don't you just want the source code? Also NetBeans is the best Java compiler and it's completely free. --Simpsons contributor (talk) 15:26, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

M: I guess it will make it. I am able to use glowing edges filter in Photoshop instead. But thank you again so much. I am not sure if I will paste any of the code in the thesis (it would take too much space) so I will only explain the basics.

Do you mean the outer glow effect? --Simpsons contributor (talk) 18:39, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

M: I have a Polish version of Photoshop. I still guess it's Filter > Filter Gallery > Glowing edges

On the English version it's Layer -> Layer Style -> Blending Options (which includes effects like drop shadow and inner glow too). Then again I've got a pretty old version. --Simpsons contributor (talk) 11:20, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

M: Nope, it's not the case. Definitely not :) Filter>Stylize>Glowing Edges
