::::{{u|Bubba73}}, cool. It might be nice if you put some geo information in there and explain the general area. I don't know what you can add to the actual wikicommons page but maybe coordinates and direction that it was taken from. Just a thought. Good editing. Skyline of Gainesville

The info box for the city asks for an image of the skyline, and that seemed OK. I don't know what the buildings are. It was taken Jan 10, 2020. Should it go somewhere else in the article? There are several photos in "points of interest", but it didn't seem like it should go there. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 19:26, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bubba73, I mean you could replace the photo currently as the skyline, but you kinda just put it at the beginning of the article. It ended up being the first picture right above the weather stuff. I think it would also need to be bigger. They have some great skyline photos over at Jacksonville, Florida in the geography section (to see what they did).
As for the buildings, you were pointing your camera at the medical area of Gainesville. I think you have part of the Florida Health hospitals in there (two on the right), the VA (white), and not sure what that other building with the white dome is (they are heavily developing this area) and it's not someplace I visit often).
I think the bigger issue though is that this is a very small part of Gainesville and the most prominent buildings in that picture are hospitals. Not sure it is representative of the city. Gainesville does have a downtown but not a typical skyline since it's not on any water. Maybe it can go in the top employers section or, better yet, University of Florida Health? I didn't put it in the info box for the skyline photo because I didn't think it looked good enough. It seems hard to get a good skyline of Gainesville because there aren't tall buildings and not much open space (a lot of trees in the way). I took that photo from the observation tower at Paynes Prairie state park. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 21:27, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Bubba73, yup, they have the "tree city" moniker for a reason. If anyone is to do a picture of the skyline, it's probably going to have to be from a drone or from the blimp when it is up over games. Where do you want to go from here? Do you want to take it to the talk page on Gainesville to see what other editors think? Do you want to put up at the UF Health page?
