==[[Leonardo da Vinci]]==

I understand why you have made those edits to the main article... after all, a separate article exists on Leo's private life. And your edits are intelligent ones.

However, every time anyone removes info from the main article with regards to Leonardo's presumed/possible homosexuality/pederasty, the result is that it is perceived as an attack. Masses of info is immediately added to the article, to prove the case. There have been numerous discussions, and frequent rewordings. Look out for an editor Haiduc who continually pushes the [[pederasty]] lobby.

The results of your edits may well be to unstabilise the main article for days or weeks. My frequently-acknowledged aim in starting the "private life" page was to stabilise the main page, particularly since it is used by every schoolkid on the planet. My opinion is that this already very long article needs to contain only the most essential knowledge about the subject... and a description of a drawing of penises pursuing someone's bottom, probably the work of some assistant, is not so significnt as to be essential to the main page. However, if you persist in removing words like "intmate relationship" (which doesn't necessarily mean "sexual relationship" but can be read as that), then to counter your removal, Salai's Bum will be reinstated..... It's all very tedious!

My main aim is to keep that page stable so it is usable by the thousands of kids out there for whom it pops up as the first site on a Google search. However, every person on the planet wants to leave a mark on it. Kids, prudes, nut-cases, Dan-Brown-believers and people with no knowledge of art or the Renaissance but lots of interest in this one fascinating individual.

You need to put the page on "watch" and monitor your edits.

Look out for an editor Haiduc who continually pushes the pederasty lobby.
