ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

The point

In regards to the WW2 edit, I believed it was grammatically-incorrect. Was I wrong? Apologies if so.

Youngjtdyt, you don't need to use a hyphen in unambiguous word combinations, a space is enough. As MOS:HYPHEN states, Avoid using a hyphen after a standard -ly adverb (a newly available home, a wholly owned subsidiary) unless part of a larger compound (a slowly-but-surely strategy). The hammer and sickle

The hammer and sickle symbol used in the article comes from the flag of the Soviet Navy, which is obvious to anyone looking at it; the state flag did not make use of a red hammer and sickle, but the flag of the navy did. Therefore, this is the version that should be used; anyone who might have any objection to that is also the one who should make a discussion of it before changing it. Thank you!
