== Embassy of Russia in Luxembourg ==

Hi Tatiana and welcome to WP. As you have probably seen, I am working on a list article [[Diplomatic missions of Russia]] and am in desperate need of photos. Would you be in the position to be able to help with photos of the Russian embassy (Chateau de Beggen, L-1719 Luxembourg) and the Russian consulate (Rue Cyprien Merjai, 116, L-2145 Luxembourg)? Any help you can give with that would be appreciated.

Also, having a look at your contributions, there are a few WikiProjects that you may be interested in joining; [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia]], [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Luxembourg]] and [[Wikipedia:WikiProject International relations]]. I am sure that all WikiProjects would be happy to have you as a member. If you need any assistance with anything, feel free to drop by my talk page. ==Image copyright problem with Image:Russian Federation Consulate General in Paris.JPG==
Thanks for uploading [[:Image:Russian Federation Consulate General in Paris.JPG]]. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

It was long ago agreed not to use flag icons in the sister cities because of serious edit warring over them (you will find it in the talk page archives), so they have been removed, besides which they serve no real contribution to the article and are basically [[WP:Flagcruft|flagcruft]]. ::Unfortunately sometimes the way people use the English language means that other people may misunderstand the intent of the writer, or the writer uses words that don't exactly convey what they want to say. I think that is the problem with your statement "We'll see about that", which I took literally, so apologies if I misread what you were trying to tell me. That's all. Keep up the good work. ==Russian Diaspora==
Hi, I saw that you tried to gather information on the Russian Diaspora, but you are still missing figures for Luxembourg. According to the [http://www.ecp.public.lu/repertoire/stats/2008/06/index.html répertoire des personnes physiques], on 1 June 2008 there lived in Luxembourg 943 Russians, 449 Ukrainiens and 167 Belorussians. Regarding White émigrés, I know unfortunately only about one who came to Luxembourg (which does not mean that there were no others). Since you state on your user page that you are a native speaker of Luxembourgish, you would maybe want to contribute also to the lb-wiki? --[[User:Otets|Otets]] ([[User talk:Otets|talk]]) 18:34, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I thought Luxembourg would make its stand just before the entry "Philippines - 40 families". ;-)<br>
What about the lb-wiki project, do you think you could sometimes give me a helping hand there regarding articles about Russia?<br>
--[[User:Otets|Otets]] ([[User talk:Otets|talk]]) 21:04, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

On the lb-wiki we still miss so many articles about Russia and Russians that you could actually start almost everything from scratch. Personally I need help with [[:lb:Russesch-orthodox Kierch zu Lëtzebuerg]], where it is stated that this church depends on the archbishop for Western Europe for the Russian Orthodox Church, but I did not find any source about this, so I wonder if this is at all correct and in which diocese of which Orthodox Church it actually belongs. On English websites I could not find anything about a Luxembourgish parish, but maybe you will have more luck searching the Russian part of the web or maybe you can ask Sergey Pukh directly. --[[User:Otets|Otets]] ([[User talk:Otets|talk]]) 23:17, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

== WP:RUSSIA roll call and your input required ==

Privet. You are receiving this message as you were listed on the membership list of [[WP:RUSSIA]] at [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:WikiProject_Russia/Members&oldid=238372971 Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Members]. Recent times has seen minimal activity within WikiProject Russia, and there is an attempt to re-invigorate the project and have it become more organised into a fully-fledge functioning project, with the aim of increasing the quality of Russia-related articles across English wikipedia.

As we don't know which listed members are active within the project and Russia-related article, all listed members are receiving this message, and are requested to re-affirm their active status on Russia-related article by re-adding their username to [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Members]] by adding:

<nowiki># {{User|YOURUSERNAME}}</nowiki>

to the membership list. You may also like to place '''<nowiki>{{User Russian Project}}</nowiki>''' on your userpage, as this will also place you in [[:Category:WikiProject Russia members]].

There is also an active proposal on the creation of a single WP:RUSSIA project. The proposal can be viewed at [[Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Russia#Proposal_for_overhaul_and_creation_of_a_single_WP:RUSSIA_project]], and your comments and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged at [[Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia/Proposal]].

We all look forward to your continued support of WP:RUSSIA and any comments you may have on the proposal. --[[User:Russavia|Russavia]] [[User talk:Russavia|Dialogue]] [[Special:Contributions/Russavia|Stalk me]] 04:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

==AfD nomination of Korean Honduran==
[[Image:Ambox warning pn.svg|48px|left]]I have nominated [[Korean Honduran]], an article you created, for [[Wikipedia:Deletion policy|deletion]]. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Korean Honduran]]. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. == Stop creating unsourced articles full of made-up information ==

[[Image:Information.svg|25px]] Please do not add content without [[Wikipedia:Citing sources|citing]] [[Wikipedia:Verifiability|reliable sources]]{{#if:Koreans in Poland|, as you did to [[:Koreans in Poland]]}}. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with [[Wikipedia:Citing sources]] please take this opportunity to add references to the article. {{#if:|{{{2}}}|Thank you.}}<!-- Template:uw-unsourced2 -->

This article was an utter disgrace, filled with misinterpretations of sources you can't read (like your claim that they're 0.08% of the Polish population, which would make the entire population of Poland to be 645,000 people), completely nonsensical claims like they're "related to the Koryo-saram", and made-up inferences about their religion. This is the third one of your made-up articles I've had the displeasure to come across after [[Korean Uruguayan]] and [[Korean Honduran]]; no doubt there are many more that responsible WP editors will have to deal with rewriting in a proper fashion.

If you continue creating ridiculous, made-up articles I will report you to [[WP:ANI]]. [[User:CaliforniaAliBaba|cab]] ([[User talk:CaliforniaAliBaba|talk]]) 12:08, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

== saint petersburg list ==

The list was removed after the discussion at [[Talk:Saint_Petersburg#merge_of_list_of_sister_cities_of_saint_petersburg]]. Basically, it was a very long list that was adding a lot of images to the article, it was a duplication of the list at [[List_of_twin_towns_and_sister_cities_in_Russia#Cities_starting_with_S]], the list for this city is much longer than the list for other cities, and it was like 10% of the height of the article. And now the list is even longer than when it was removed because I added at the end the cities that were not on the official page. --[[User:Enric Naval|Enric Naval]] ([[User talk:Enric Naval|talk]]) 22:25, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

==Saint Petersburg Sister Cities list==

Hi, Thank you for your support in that the Sister Cities list should be on the Saint Petersburg article page. ==Canada-Moldova==

1. Past discussions have concluded that bilateral relationships are not inherently notable: see for instance [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peru–Romania relations]], [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bilateral relations of Ireland]] and, yes, [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Canada–Moldova relations]]. (By the way, recreating material deleted through AfD is not allowed, if the material is substantially the same.)

This is especially true for countries that have no historical or cultural links. While I could possibly see the validity of, say, [[Franco–German relations]] or [[Croatia–Serbia relations]], it's absurd to have articles on relations between random countries on opposite sides of the world that happen to have bilateral ties (the existence of which can be amply documented at "Bilateral relations of ..." articles) or happen to have signed a handful of symbolic agreements regulating minuscule trade flows (which form part of the normal course of international political and economic relations, and is not exactly notable).

2. Once again, that (say) Canada and Moldova happen to both belong to the OSCE is nice, but a) is already documented at the [[OSCE]] article and b) is of zero significance beyond that fact. - [[User:Biruitorul|Biruitorul]] <small>[[User talk:Biruitorul|Talk]]</small> 19:32, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

:[[Special:Contributions/Groubani|Groubani]] and his sockpuppet [[Special:Contributions/Plumoyr|Plumoyr]] were indiscriminately creating hundreds of bilateral relations stubs, without any thought as to whether they were actually notable, no attempt to expand the more expandable ones with reliable sources, etc. If done carefully, I don't mind this sort of article, but what they were doing was silly and counter-productive. - [[User:Biruitorul|Biruitorul]] <small>[[User talk:Biruitorul|Talk]]</small> 19:46, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

== [[Diplomatic missions of Russia]] ==

It has been about six months since Russavia's proposed new bold format was developed, using a table, smaller pictures, names of heads of missions and cross accreditations. We did not come to any consensus about using it - but it was a good opportunity to see how it would look. May I also add we were worn down by Russavia's persistence that his design stay, that we redo the taxonomy of the DMBC articles ("by sending state", "by receiving state"), and we allow all those articles of Russian missions (and missions to Russia) to exist, even if they just consist of the name of the ambassador and its address.

I am still not convinced that the design of Russavia's format is an improvement on the existing design, or that these articles are the right place to list heads of missions or accreditations. I have not seen any significant endorsement of his new format, nor anybody stating they wanted to make wholesale changes to all articles.

Please note what the Arbitration Committee states about MoS conflicts:
<blockquote>
''The Arbitration Committee has ruled that the Manual of Style is not binding, that editors should not change an article from one guideline-defined style to another without a substantial reason unrelated to mere choice of style, and that revert-warring over optional styles is unacceptable.''

''Where there is disagreement over which style to use in an article, defer to the style used by the first major contributor.''

==Your recent edits to [[Nicaragua–Russia relations]]==
Please reference any claims that "Nicaragua is one of Russia's closest allies" in accordance with [[WP:NOR]] before adding that statement to the article. Plus, your removal of the term "disputed" goes against [[WP:NPOV]]. The status of those two territories are indeed disputed internationally.--[[User:Just James|<b><font color="green">Just James</font></b>]] [[User_Talk:Just James|<font color="#0047AB"><small>'''T'''</small></font>]]/[[Special:Contributions/Just James|<font color="#0047AB"><small>'''C'''</small></font>]] 03:54, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Removing afd tags (and sourcing tags when the problems haven't been fixed) as you just did at [[Chile-Luxembourg relations]] is considered [[WP:VANDAL|vandalism]]. Consider this a warning. Hello, please stop editing articles stating that those nations have embassies in Guinea. None of them do. Please check the individual websites of each nations Ministries of Foreign Affairs; the source that you are using is incorrect and not valid. ==Twin towns - Sister cities==

Hi Tatiana, I notice you have done considerable work on the subject of Twin towns and Sister cities. I am impressed with your work and perseverance. I also do some editing on the subject and would like to know which terminology to use. Recently the page [[Town twinning]] was change to [[Sister cities]] and merged. I have started a discussion on this subject on the Sister cities talk page [[Talk:Sister_cities#Name_of_article|here]], and you would like to invite you to add you opinion, if you wish. I'm also trying to find a standard way of displaying this information on each town/city article page and have been discussing it [[User_talk:Marek69#One_more_thing|here]].

Kind Regards -- [[User:Marek69|{{#if:|<span style="background-color:Marek;color:DarkBlue;"></span>|<span style="color:DarkBlue;">Marek</span>}}<small>{{#if:|<span style="background-color:.69;color:Blue;"></span>|<span style="color:Blue;">.69</span>}}</small>]][[User_talk:Marek69|<small>{{#if:|<span style="background-color:'' talk'';color:Green;"></span>|<span style="color:Green;">'' talk''</span>}}</small>]] 10:29, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

== [[Anti-Korean sentiment]] ==

Thank you for your recent contributions to [[Anti-Korean sentiment]], however would you mind to add citations and references, to ensure [[WP:verifiability|verifiability]]? Thanks. --<span style="border:1px solid yellow;padding:1px;">[[User:benlisquare|<font style="color:#FFFF00;background:red;">'''&nbsp;李博杰&nbsp;'''</font>]]</span><span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"> | <small>—[[User talk:benlisquare|Talk]] [[Special:Contributions/Benlisquare|contribs]] [[Special:EmailUser/User:Benlisquare|email]] [[User:Benlisquare/Guestbook|guestbook]] [[WP:SANDBOX|complaints]] </small></span> 07:56, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
:Regarding your message at [[User talk:Benlisquare]]: even if something is sourced in one article, if you add the same information to another article you need to source it again. Basically, wherever it appears on Wikipedia, it needs to have a source. In this case, I have added the source at [[Anti-Korean sentiment]]. ==Embassy of Luxembourg in Malaysia==
Hello, the website that you use for your sources is unreliable. The best thing to do is to check the individual websites of each countries Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It sounds difficult, but its the only way to get reliable information. According to both the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg and of Malaysia; Luxembourg does not have an embassy in Malaysia. Malaysia is coverd through the embassy of Luxembourg in Thailand. [http://www.mae.lu/fr/Site-MAE/Missions-diplomatiques-et-consulaires Ministry of foreign affairs of Malaysia] and [http://www.mae.lu/fr/Site-MAE/Missions-diplomatiques-et-consulaires Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg]. ==Your edits==
Hi Russian Luxembourger,

I note that you are a diligent contributor to the Diplomatic Missions by Country articles.

However on more than a few occasions you have inserted information which is incorrect or inaccurat. Could you please in future provide us with a URL of a reliable source which demonstrates whatever facts you put in? Thanks.[[User:Kransky|Kransky]] ([[User talk:Kransky|talk]]) 01:08, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
::You asked me for an example. One example was a list of consulates in Mongolia - in fact most of these countries actually had embassies, or were only honorary consulates.
::More often than not you provide useful information, but sometimes you add material that you say is sourced. It would be useful if we could be told what this source is. Thank you. [[User:Kransky|Kransky]] ([[User talk:Kransky|talk]]) 12:58, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

== [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion|AfD]] nomination of [[Russia–Seychelles relations]] ==
[[File:Ambox warning pn.svg|left|48px|]]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for [[Wikipedia:Deletion process|deletion]]. The nominated article is [[Russia–Seychelles relations]]. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "[[WP:NOT|What Wikipedia is not]]").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Russia–Seychelles relations]]. Please be sure to [[WP:SIG|sign your comments]] with four tildes (<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the [[WP:AfD|articles for deletion]] template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

'''Please note:''' This is an automatic notification by a [[WP:BOT|bot]]. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --[[User:Erwin85Bot|Erwin85Bot]] ([[User talk:Erwin85Bot|talk]]) 01:13, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

== Proposed Removal of all non de jure diplomatic Missions in List Articles==

I would like to seek your view as to whether we should eliminate from the lists of diplomatic missions by sending/receiving countries all references to representative offices of sending states that do not have formal diplomatic missions with the host states. This would affect a large number of articles which relate to Taiwan, Palestine, Kosovo and other states. Please provide your views [[Category talk:Lists of diplomatic missions by sending country|here]]. Thank you. [[User:Kransky|Kransky]] ([[User talk:Kransky|talk]]) 06:37, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
