I believe my Article was notable enough this time however it is deleted without giving me any satisfactory explanation. The procedure i have followed: Make draft, join chat and spend 1 whole day to edit and compose excellent article based on suggestion and edits by experts at the chat, submit draft, draft accepted, draft reviewed and edited by WikiProject_Video_games editor and completely published. Then i ask chat again about isn’t this too much edit? then primefac opens speedy delete then it is deleted without giving me any explanation in matter of minutes. If you check the issue i appreciate ty very much : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MonsterMMORPG . And there were not any discussion it was deleted immediately. One more notice: I checked same genre games articles and majority of them have way more less authority references and even some have 0 references. Thank you very much for your help. I'm with you on everything you're saying. For some reason, people are a lot stricter with the notability of video game characters, as opposed to characters in other media, such as TV shows and comic books, as well as some other areas on Wikipedia in general. Unfortunately, there also seems to be a misconception on Wikipedia that topics must be covered on their own in sources to have notability established, despite WP:GNG suggesting the contrary. And now Czar has proposed new guidelines for character articles, which I made a very long post explaining my very strong oppose. Do you agree with all the point I make? You know, I would actually like to get some of these character articles to GA. Do you ever review articles for GA? The Sarah Bryant AfD was incredibly frustrating as the people supporting deletion completely ignored mine (and your) points and feigned deaf when they were confronted with legitimate policies and facts, and that's not mentioning their complete refusal to cite policies for their arguments... thank god the closing admin was able to see through that nonsense and close it with a keep. And now I come back to Wikipedia after a short break (was busy with a project IRL) and there's a massive wall of text about the same issue at WT:VG... wow. Anyway, thanks for fighting the good fight over there, I certainly agreed with all of the points you made; I'll voice my own opinion too as soon as I have the time. I've never been involved in the GA process before but perhaps it's something I could look into. Sadly not even GAs are safe from deletionism though... The admin (SandStein) decided he's standing by that result, and I even threw in my input as to how the AFD already ran its course, and was open longer than AFDs normally are anyway. That redirect at the Espio article should have been reverted right away. Articles that are GA should not be redirected without a strong consensus in favor of it. Which reminds me, remember that big discussion on which Sonic character articles should be merged last year? Czar was also the one who started that discussion. With the exception of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman, all Sonic character articles were proposed for a merge. Some of them had consensus to be merged, but at least consensus was against the merge for Amy, Shadow and Rouge. But yeah, I would like to submit a character article to GAN sometime. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:21, 17 January 2016 (UTC) AFDs & 168hrs Hi Satellizer, AFDs need to stay open for 168 hours (7days) as per WP:NOTEARLY and the consensus here - This AFD was closed 4/5 hours early which as stupid as it sounds the community still doesn't like that - They need to be closed generally when they were nominated, I used to close early all the time but a few days ago I ended up blocked (and then unblocked on the basis that I stop closing early) so my advice to you would be is to seriously stop the early closures otherwise you'll end up blocked and for a rather long time - I disagree with it all personally but it's the way it is, Anyway thanks and Happy editing :), –Davey2010Talk 16:43, 30 January 2016 (UTC) Whoops.
