== Adding images ==

It is not necessary to add every single image that we have on a subject to the subject's article. The image needs to be evaluated in regard to what it adds to the article, whether it is easily understandable at the size it will be displayed, whether it is duplicative of other images, whether the article has too many images already, etc. IN short, editing Wikipedia is not a mechanical effort, it requires '''''editorial discretion'''''. Please take more care and use some judgment when you add an image. Thanks, [[User:Beyond My Ken|Beyond My Ken]] ([[User talk:Beyond My Ken|talk]]) 18:33, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Images

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, could you please stop including "Brooklyn Museum" in the image captions? It is not part of the title of the work, and a distraction; the reader can click on the image and obtain this and other information if desired. May I ask you to go back through your edits and remove that part of the caption? I have done several (at Brooklyn Bridge, but leave the rest of the cleanup for you.
