Minneapolis

Hello. Does Minneapolis, Minnesota look all right to you? Please pardon this form letter that is going to about a dozen people whose user name I recognize from some Wikipedia edit (could have been recent or in the past year). I expect to close peer review by nominating Minneapolis to featured article candidate in a day or two unless other editors have more work they'd like to do. Clean up.

Hi Cricket02,

Just noticed a clean up banner on the 'Ciaran Farrell' page regarding 'outside spam links'. What are 'outside spam links' and where are they on the page? The 'Myspace' link? Sorry but not fully up to speed with this as yet. If this is the culprit should it be incorporated into the main text body?

Will in fact accept any advice you might like to offer in making this a better page.

Improper Categories Re: 'Ciaran Farrell' Page.

Hi again,

Just noticed that some of the category links were deleted also. Were these the 'spam links' in question?

Listed below are the deleted category links. Perhaps they should have been, but just to clarify.

Celtic fusion, Celtic music, Jazz. Ciaran's music would fall into these categories along with the others mentioned. These are very strong stylistic elements which are very apparent in his music. Previous recordings will justify this and a new collection due to be released in the Autumn will further support this.

20th century classical music, 20th century classical composers, Film score composers, Irish composers, Composers, Irish music. These are also valid categories. Unsure why the were deleted.

Many thanks for your time and help. Page looks much better now!

I see exactly where you're coming from with regards to categories about particular styles, rather than those who write in those styles. Will keep this in mind for the future.

This page is a growing entity and will develop as Ciaran does more work over the coming years.

With regards to the copyright of text, (you noticed the same text on myspace), it is the copyright of Ciaran, but I am presently looking after this too and a web site that will be launched over the summer.

Is there something I should do in this regard, relative to Wikipedia?

Again thanks for all your trouble. It's appreciated and most certainly makes for a better looking page.
