Manga de Dokuha
Hi Gabriel. Thanks for your review of the Manga de Dokuha article. On closer inspection, can see that you are right and that the article is pretty well referenced.

Main concern when I added the template, was the 132 "references" which are actually just links to the sales page at amazon.co.jp Risks the article being viewed as an advert directing readers to purchase site. Would appreciate your thoughts. --Haruth (talk) 19:39, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Kimi ni Todoke

Hey! Thanks for catching the bit of my edit that may have been unnecessary; I thought I would clarify that light novel section so it didn't look redundant - having two "light novel" sections - but completely missed the fact that it was already mentioned within the section itself...

But on another note: I mainly changed the second title for season 2 because I thought it was awkwardly phrased and perhaps redundant (we know the series is called Kimi ni Todoke). If people prefer to see it that way, that's okay, but in either case, it may be helpful to add a title to the section above it (which now just says "Anime Television Series") in order to make the section more consistent, clear at first glance, and reader friendly. If we want to stay in line with the title reverted to for the second season, maybe we could title that first section "Kimi ni Todoke 1st season" or even "Kimi ni Todoke". I just think that part needs some amount of consistency in the way of some title to show it's separate and complete entity. Since I couldn't find any particulars on how the seasons should officially be named, it seems anything to clarify that section would work (I'm still of the opinion that "(season 1)" and "(season 2)" as titles are the best way to clarify that area without taking any royalties on season titles). I don't know if you recognized that reverting that edit would change the season titles, but either way, in case it does matter to you, I would love to hear what your thoughts are on making an edit in the vein of season title clarification. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mldavis92 (talkcontribs) 08:02, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

I am not even sure how I messed up that (attempted) edit on the Brazilian Universities template. I’m glad you caught it—valeu! giso6150 (talk) 00:04, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

I've noticed your rapid-fire additions of cn tags to articles; I suggest reading Wikipedia's guidance on lead sections, which do not require citations for most content within the lead that is cited elsewhere. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs(talk) 14:37, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hm... Wrong talk? Indeed I've added cn tags to several articles but I've not added any cn to any article's lead... I suggest double checking before making accusations and doubting on my aptitude as a Wikipedian... Wow, I've not read a guidance that I had already to explain to many other editors...? Sorry but you were not polite, David Fuchs... Gabriel Yuji (talk) 03:46, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Little Battlers Experience

I wanted to give you a heads up since you had deleted earlier info that showed which episodes weren't dubbed. Frankly you should have never deleted that info since an episode summary could still be added to it while showing it wasn't dubbed. That's not why I'm writing though. I have created a separate page titled List of Danball Senki episodes and deleted the episode list on the Little Battlers Experience page. On the list page I have listed all the episodes for Danball Senki, Danball Senki W, Danball Senki Wars, and Little Battlers Experience. You might ask why I did Danball Senki and Little Battlers Experience seperate. I did it because the dub, Little Battlers Experience, doesn't dub 9 episodes and abridges another 18 episodes to get it down to 26 episodes. Since there are a lot of differences because of the edits, I personally feel it is better to do a separate episode list for them and then note on the Little Battlers Experience episodes which Danball Senki episodes they used to get the content. It also makes it where anyone who watches only the dub doesn't come and ask why they haven't seen all the additional material that isn't listed. Currently I'm going through and rewatching Danball Senki, adding episode summaries as I go along, so all of them will eventually have episode summaries. I will follow it with both sequel series until episode summaries have been added for all the episodes. Bigddan11 (talk) 19:55, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nausicaä intro

I've considerably expanded the intro of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (manga), as per your recommendation for the article to be considered GA-class. Can you take a look? Also, just to be sure, can the user who recommends a review of an article for GA-status actually perform the review themselves, or do they have to wait until somebody else does the review for them? Reverting my edit

How DARE you?! No, just kidding---like I said, I could well have been wrong, and apparently I was. Thanks. Dozzzzzzzzzing off (talk) 16:23, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Typographical errors in quotations

Hi there. In reference to this edit, I just thought I'd mention that sic advises that we just skip using the template for simple typographical errors. It's not a big deal, and I honestly don't care very much one way or the other. But it is kind of funny that we have a template that discourages its own use. Anyway, I'm glad whenever these obscure articles get a little attention from established editors. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:21, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@NinjaRobotPirate: Hm, interesting... I've never stopped to read what that template said since I thought it would be pretty simplistic or obvious information. Hm, sincerely, it doesn't matter to me too what version should be kept. However, as I LilHelpa fixed the typo and I've "disfixed" [sic] it I'd like to hear his/her opinion. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 03:45, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, I run into this stuff all the time. It is not always easy to determine if the typo was made by the contributor or the source, particularly in regards to its vs it's In verbal quotes I will usually change it. I did see one time somewhere that a minor error was permitted to be fixed if the meaning of the quote was not changed. Though I have not been able to find that reference (yet). See WP:MOSQUOTE Often a correction permits better flow for the reader. Making the correction often stimulates the contributor to "sic" it, or if there is a complaint I often sic it myself. --LilHelpa (talk) 16:30, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Minor comment"?

The discussion has exploded, I mean if you want you can always help fix up the plot on the draft I have on my user-page some things are essential to the plot though. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 00:15, 16 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Research Invitation

Hello Wikipedians,

We’d like to invite you to participate in a study that aims to explore how WikiProject members coordinate activities of distributed group members to complete project goals. We are specifically seeking to talk to people who have been active in at least one WikiProject in their time in Wikipedia. Compensation will be provided to each participant in the form of a $10 Amazon gift card.

The purpose of this study is to better understanding the coordination practices of Wikipedians active within WikiProjects, and to explore the potential for tool-mediated coordination to improve those practices. Interviews will be semi-structured, and should last between 45-60 minutes. If you decide to participate, we will schedule an appointment for the online chat session. During the appointment you will be asked some basic questions about your experience interacting in WikiProjects, how that process has worked for you in the past and what ideas you might have to improve the future.

You must be over 18 years old, speak English, and you must currently be or have been at one time an active member of a WikiProject. The interview can be conducted over an audio chatting channel such as Skype or Google Hangouts, or via an instant messaging client. If you have questions about the research or are interested in participating, please contact Michael Gilbert at (206) 354-3741 or by email at [email protected].

We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information sent by email.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mr. Monk Gets a New Shrink, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tour de force (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
