Pławniowice [pwavɲɔˈvit͡sɛ] (formerly German Plawniowitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rudziniec, within Gliwice County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Rudziniec, 19 km (12 mi) north-west of Gliwice, and 41 km (25 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 824.
