==Career==
After studying law at Paris Assas University and spending two years with [[General Motors]], Philippe Gas joined Disney in 1991 as finance controller and served on the team that opened Disneyland Paris in April 1992. In 1997, he was promoted to Director of Corporate Compensation at Disney's headquarters in [[Burbank, California]]. In 2000, he was named Regional Vice President, Human Resources, for the Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific, where he led the company's HR strategy in 13 countries. He returned to the French resort in 2004 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

In 2005 he was appointed Senior Vice President, International Human Resources for [[Walt Disney Parks and Resorts]], the company division that operates or licenses 11 theme parks at five sites around the world. In 2006 he was named Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion for the division. In this role, he was responsible for the Human Resources strategy and services for nearly 100,000 Cast Members.

Philippe Gas was the president of Euro Disney S.A.S., the management company of Euro Disney S.C.A. and Euro Disney Associés S.C.A., the operator of Disneyland Paris, from 2008 until September 2014.[1][2] From 2014 to 2020, Gas was the head of Shanghai Disneyland Resort, overseeing its debut and supervising Disney's theme park operations in Asia.[3][4] In 2020, he became CEO of the Qiddiya Investment Company, an organization seeking to build an entertainment district outside of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.[5]
