|facts = This town is a geologic oddity. It is actually in the middle of nowhere. When people see it they are excited, thinking they are somewhere. Then shortly after arriving, they discover the mirage of somewhereness has been abruptly lifted. They are left with a feeling of emptiness and unfulfilled potential. Time has no hold on this place. The entity known as Richwood eats time in hurried gulps, making sure no progress is even considered in the light of day. The only plans that are made here are plans of the next beer run, or possibly fishing. Those who are passing through the area, forced to slow and make a right turn, instinctively push a little harder on the right pedal as they pull away. |
