Radio Globo is a radio station operating in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. It is known for its support of exiled President of Honduras Manuel Zelaya during the when he was exiled during the 2009 Honduran constitutional crisis. On September 28, 2009 it was taken off the air by the de facto Honduras government who were able to do so due to a decree suspending the constitution of Honduras[1]. David Romero hit the headlines just before the closure with an antisemitic rant on radio Globo because of suspected support for the dictatorship by Israel[2].
