Sékou Mara (born 30 July 2002) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Bordeaux.

Club career

Mara made his professional debut for Bordeaux in a 2–0 Coupe de France loss to Toulouse on 10 February 2021.[1]

International career

Mara is a youth international for France. He has played matches at U16 and U17 level.[2]

Born in France, Mara is of French and Senegalese descent.[3] His mother, Audrey Crespo-Mara, is a French journalist and television presenter,[4] and his father, Aliou Mara, is a Senegalese entrepreneur.[5]
