Willietell (talk · contribs) claims that I am using editor BlackCab (talk · contribs) as a sockpuppet, and that I also have several other user IDs.[1] However, Willietell claims that he 'doesn't care' enough to prove it.[2] He has made this claim to discredit me at an ANI, so I want this matter swiftly cleared up to show he is lying. I would like to state for the record that I never requested this SPI and have never actually stated that I knew the two users were sockpuppets, only that I suspected this (in a recent ANI discussion related to their seemingly tandem relationship [3]), but lacked any concrete evidence to the prove such a relationship. I have also clearly stated that I really didn't care if such a relationship did in fact exist, thus to bring here is sophomoric at best, especially since I'm sure that both seasoned editors already knew that CU would not be used to "prove innocence", this this entire process has been a waste of the administrators limited time. I have also never made reference to such suspicion on any page other than the ANI and my on talk page when discussing with the two editors in question, I have never brought my suspicion up as a topic for discussion on any article talk page. Just FYI. Willietell (talk) 01:37, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

What can I say? I live in Melbourne, Australia and I have gained the impression from his past edits that Jeffro77 also lives in Australia, though we seem to edit in slightly different time zones. I have never met him. I sent him an email once through the WP link on his talk page and he replied. I have disagreed with him in the past and he has opposed my edits in the past. A month or so ago he chided me over intemperate comments I made to another editor. [4] The suggestion that I am a sockpuppet of Jeffro77 (which Willietell first made a few weeks ago) is baseless, fanciful and .... just weird. BlackCab (talk) 05:05, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
