Hane Yasumasa (羽根泰正, born June 25, 1944) is a professional Go player.

Biography

Hane Yasumasa was one of the best players in the Nagoya branch of the Nihon-Kiin during his peak. He is probably better known for being the father of the current Kisei holder, Hane Naoki. He was also known as to being a major contributor in the development of the Chinese fuseki. He was taught Go by Shimamura Toshihiro, and currently teaches his son, Naoki, along with Asano Yasuko and Aoba Kaori.
