Héctor Neris (born June 14, 1989) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Career
Neris was called up to the majors for the first time on August 3, 2014.[1] He made his debut on August 5 pitching a scoreless top of the 15th-inning; the Phillies scored in the bottom of the inning earning Neris his first major league victory.[2] However, after the game, he was optioned back to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to open a roster spot for the next night's starting pitcher, David Buchanan.[3]
