Mikael Salomon (b. February 24, 1945) is a Danish director and cinematographer from Copenhagen, Denmark.[1] Some of the films he acted as cinematographer on include The Abyss, Always, Arachnophobia, Backdraft and Far and Away. He has also directed several films including A Far Off Place, Hard Rain, Aftershock: Earthquake in New York, Salem's Lot "Based on the Novel By Stephen King" and Sole Survivor. Salomon has also directed episodes of several television series, such as Nash Bridges, Band of Brothers, The Agency, Alias, The Grid, Over There, Rome and the series Runaway.[2] He also directed the ABC Family Original Miniseries Fallen
