Find uncategorized articles

Articles created without a category should be tagged with a maintenance tag. Use the {{Uncategorized}} tag to put articles in a maintenance category. Optionally add a date parameter like {{Uncategorized|date=August 2024}} to put articles in by-date maintenance categories.

Such tagged articles are found at Uncategorized pages. You can try to categorize articles yourself. One useful technique is to follow links in the article to other similar articles and see how they are categorized, so you know what to copy.

Question from Rayehshama (15:16, 31 July 2024)

[edit]

Hello, Could you please let me know the estimated timeframe for the review of any page? --Rayehshama (talk) 15:16, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rayehshama Hi Good day. All the reviewers are volunteers, so it depends the availability of the reviewers' free time and which articles they want to review. Pls note that there are at least 5 K new pages in waiting for review at the moment so t could take a few days to a few months for your page to be reviewed. Thanks so much your information. Rayehshama (talk) 05:15, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Sayuuuto (15:56, 1 August 2024)

[edit]

Hello, First, thank you for your time. I’m very new and interested in contributing to wikipedia. But there is something I don’t understand. My edits are systematically reverted, I think there are some pages who are “owned” by certain editors who systematically revert anything that goes against their POV. A recent edit of mine has been reverted and when I wanted to push it to the talk page he said that it was WP:OR even when I provided reliable secondary sources and even official sources from official diplomatic websites. And while discussing the subject in the talk page he went ahead and gave me several warnings in my talk page in one go? And even accused me of edit wars when all I’ve done was one edit? I can’t wrap my head around it and it discourages me from contributing anymore.

I want to have another editor’s opinion on this matter as I feel terribly frustrated. --Sayuuuto (talk) 15:56, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sayuuuto, Good day and thank you for the questions above. I have reverted your edits on Algeria–Morocco relations page and removed one of the source (this one) as it is not independent nor reliable since it is a source from government website. Pls note that there is no used to remove the warnings as all edits in Wikipedia is stored and always be viewed in the history log page. I also crossed out the warnings as they were in inappropriately warned since you have only one edit and took the matter to the talk page which was the right procedure to do. Pls check User talk:M.Bitton talk page as I will address the issue with the editor involved who gave you the warnings. Pls note you need to ping the editor involved in all talk page which you didnt do on Talk:Algeria–Morocco relations page so the editor involved didnt know you wanted to talk to them to discuss the issue. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 02:12, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
