[edit]There is a problem of nomenclature here. The male children (and their male issue) of the second marriege of the the Great Elector seem to have been given the title Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt in the German wikipedia. However, in their lifetimes they were all given the courtesy title of "Margrave of Brandenburg" as princes of the blood. Only Philip William, the eldest of the brothers actually held the town and lands of Schwedt, which he passed on to his sons. The use of "Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt" only came in retrospectively in the 19th century - whether the brothers of Philip and their progeny should be described as of Brandenburg-Schwedt is moot as they had nothing to do with Schwedt.
