"alleged war crimes"[edit]

Is it really in serious dispute that at least some war crimes have been committed by Israel during the present war? (t · c) buidhe 01:12, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello buidhe. I'm not sure. I guess I should ask someone else like Nableezy. And you seem to be experienced in these kinds of articles. Any suggestions? Ghazaalch (talk) 07:17, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If it were my article I would just remove the word "alleged" in the title, similar to the article title for Israeli war crimes (t · c) buidhe 01:55, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I also think that the word "alleged" should be removed. David A (talk) 09:55, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 5 July 2024[edit]

Accusations of United States complicity in Israeli war crimes in the Israel–Hamas warUnited States complicity in Gaza genocide – the intro and Defense for Children International-Palestine et al v. Biden et al seems to indicate it is mainly about US complicity in Gaza genocide. Gsgdd (talk) 08:52, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly support this name change. David A (talk) 08:55, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Strongly oppose, it would reduce the scope down significantly compared to what is currently written. One could make the argument that this is desirable, but as the article is written now, it includes accusations that are not genocide. FortunateSons (talk) 08:57, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support shortening this to United States complicity in Israeli war crimes in the Israel–Hamas war. The "accusations of" part is unnecessary. We don't write "Supposed" before Extraterrestrial life even though there is no evidence of aliens.VR (Please ping on reply) 23:56, 11 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support move or at least the removal of "Accusations of" due to its redundancy. While replacing the (quite verbose) "Israeli war crimes in the Israel–Hamas war" part with "Gaza genocide" might seem to potentially narrow the scope of the article, this is would actually not be the case, since the vast majority of said war crimes should be sufficiently related to topics discussed in the Gaza genocide article anyway.
