The article also said that Sutemaru was beaten for trying to pursue Kaguya - this is inaccurate, he was beaten for stealing a chicken, and his pursuers caught him because he paused when Kaguya called to him. This is central to the film's theme of class - that Kaguya sees her old friend beaten for stealing food while she lives in a palace. undo Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
  • curprev 02:1602:16, 9 November 202331.117.150.185 talk 63,155 bytes +12 I changed 'stumbled upon a child' to 'stumbled into a child' for better clarity - 'stumbled upon' is vague because it can indicate just coming across a child - in the film she trips over it. The article said that this scene reminds Kaguya of her status, but didn't include the part of the scene that makes it clear why: although she made the mistake, the family apologises, and begs her forgiveness, because they see her as someone of power. I reworded the line to include this. undo Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
