File:Love Is a Long Road (Tom Petty song).jpeg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Eric Carpenter (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This is not the actual cover of "Love is a long road". It's never been released as a single. The source image apparently is Spotify, where no release under the name "Love is a Long Road" by Tom Petty appears to have this cover. And so, it is a fake and should be deleted. Bedivere (talk) 00:12, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep this image, it's the official Spotify image. Eric Carpenter (talk) 15:56, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

what's your source? I did not find it anywhere. Seems made up. Bedivere (talk) 16:55, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This image was posted on Tom Petty's official Twi-, err, X about a week ago. [1] Ixfd64 (talk) 18:35, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but as it's been said below, it's the cover of a playlist, not the song. It is misleading, still Bedivere (talk) 22:08, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File:$NEWSP.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by RVBILLIS-99 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Contested PROD. Used on Top News next to File:$NEWSP-2023.jpg. My PROD concern was: "Fails WP:NFCC3 as excessive use of non-free content. File:$NEWSP-2023.jpg is already used for the same purposes in the same section, and seeing both images does not increase the reader's understanding of the subject. The difference between the appearance in 2018 and 2023 is not subject to sourced commentary. (so also fails WP:NFCC8 per WP:NFC#CS)" Uploader's contest summary was: "The reason there are two images in the $NEWSP part of Top News, is because I want users to realize that the command still exists, even in the new layout (January 1st 2021 - present)." I still do not understand how seeing both versions of the image is contextually significant. The section where the files are used cites only a primary source and possibly constitutes original research. Thriftycat TalkContribs 18:18, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete The entire section is trivial, non-notable information and should be removed. Both this and File:$NEWSP-2023.jpg should be deleted. Aspects (talk) 15:20, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
These both were supposed to be added as proof that the "$NEWSP" command was actually used to update news information at the bottom part of the layout. The reason why the 2023 version is also uploaded is because I want to upload proof that it still exists to this day even with the new layout.
I hope that this comment could prevent deletion of both images. RVBILLIS-99 (talk) 16:33, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That is not what the stated purpose is. If it is being used as a reference, then you just add a link to an external site a reference. -- Whpq (talk) 16:37, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File:Grilled cheesus sandwich.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Thecheeseistalking98 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

There is no significant sourced commentary about this image to satisfy WP:NFCC#8. There is only unsourced mention of the face of Jesus on a grilled cheese sandwich in the plot. Whpq (talk) 19:59, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
