Họ Dong, hay Họ Dong ta, còn gọi là họ Hoàng tinh (danh pháp khoa học: Marantaceae) là một họ các thực vật có hoa một lá mầm. Họ này là một phần của bộ Gừng (Zingiberales), bao gồm 550 loài được chia ra trong 32 chi. Họ này có nguồn gốc ở các vùng nhiệt đới của châu Mỹ, châu Phi và châu Á. Một vài loài trong chi Calathea được trồng làm cây cảnh vì các lá của chúng có các ánh màu khác nhau như lục, trắng hay hồng.

Họ Dong ở Việt Nam có một số loài quan trọng như dong lá (Phrynium placentarium) có lá sử dụng để gói bánh chưng, và dong củ (Maranta arundinacea), tại miền Nam gọi là bình tinh, được dùng làm lương thực.

Cây dong riềng (tên khoa học: Canna edulis Ker.) lấy bột để làm miến dong ở Việt Nam không thuộc họ này mà thuộc về họ Dong riềng (hay họ Chuối hoa, Cannaceae) cũng thuộc bộ Gừng.

Hoàng tinh (chữ Hán: 黄精) trong y học cổ truyền Trung Hoa (Đông y) chỉ nhiều loài thuộc chi Polygonatum, đặc biệt là loài Polygonatum sibiricum, có thân rễ làm dược liệu.
